Pre-school Education
The courses are Pre-3, Pre-4 and Pre-5 according to the child’s age. The objective is to introduce children to the Spanish language, through the use of educational games, songs, practice of syllables and psychomotor activities.
This is done through various activities specially designed for young children, such as: reading stories, singing songs, watching videos, working with cards, etc., allowing children to learn about different greetings, numbers, colours, sizes and other interesting things in an entertaining manner.
We also work on hand motor skills, starting with the simplest strokes, in order to set a foundation for writing in later courses. All this learning is done in game-like fashion, which is what children need and grasp better at this stage in their development.
This is the stage of awakening and growth in Spanish, so why not start it as soon as possible?
Primary Education (Grades 1 through 6)
The content is divided by language level and geography.
In grades 1 to 3, the main focus is on the teaching of Spanish. The skills that are worked on in the classroom are: oral production and oral comprehension; written production and written comprehension. These skills are practiced through educational activities that focus on the development and improvement of verbal communication, as well as written activities to introduce spelling rules. These are very interactive classes to encourage the students’ oral expression.
In grades 4 to 6, the educational focus is directed toward the communicative development of the students and to improving their writing skills. The activities are meant to awake the students’ curiosity for things related to the arts and their own personal interests. We encourage the exchange of opinions, oral presentations, group and individual activities etc.
Secondary Education (Grades 7 through 10)
In secondary education, for each language level, the content is organized around the literature, geography and history of Spain and other Spanish-speaking countries. The goal is to work on oral and written expression in order to improve those skills so that students can use Spanish properly.
The activities and projects are geared toward awakening the student’s interests in current issues, history, literature and language. These are very interactive and stimulating courses designed for teenagers.
